Thermae-yu Shinjuku
Shinjuku, Tokyo

Allowed if a skin-colored patch fully hides the tattoo. Size limits usually apply.
According to Thermae-yu's official website, men can bathe with tattoos only if they are foreign tourists: buy and wear one designated tattoo sticker (¥330; it may not cover everything) and show your passport or air ticket. Entry is refused if you arrived in Japan 90 or more days ago or cannot show these documents, and men living in Japan cannot enter with tattoos even with a sticker. Women (Japanese or foreign) may enter with fashion tattoos on a trial basis, wearing one ¥330 sticker only if a single tattoo is larger than 30×30 cm.
